Saturday saw 30 pairs enter The SDA Shetland Doubles, the final Grand prix of 2024.
Following the early compeitive rounds the quarter finals saw Ryan Inkster & John Philip Hughes bt James McNab & Michael Eunson 4-3, Ian Hannah & Bobby Cumming bt Clive Scott & John Robert Scott 4-2, Ben Ferguson & Kyle Tait bt Stuat Paul & Tommy Williamson 4-1 and Roger Irvine & Liam Sutherland bt Ronnie Johnson & craig Redfern 4-2.
The best of 9 leg semi finals saw Liam & Roger win a last leg decider 5-4 against Ben & Kyle whilst Ian & Bobby beat John Philip & Ryan 5-3 The best of 11 leg final saw
Roger and Liam emerge a 6-3 winner to pick up the Shetland Doubles title.
