The first Grand Prix of the year was held last Wednesday in the Whalsay Boating Club. There was a great turnout of 30 entries.
In the quarter finals Alison Robertson beat Wendy Somerville, Andrea Henderson beat Anne-Marie Smith, Melanie Scott beat Sylvia Fullerton and Marcia Pearson beat Autumn Arcus.
In the semi-finals Alison played Andrea and Melanie was against Marcia. Both Andrea and Melanie won their games 2-1.
In the final, Andrea was the winner beating Melanie 2-0. Well done Andrea!
Also well done to Roselyn Fraser who checked out a high score of 100, and to AMS who had a great 17 dart leg.
The new shield donated in memory of Iris Anderson by the Tammie Nories was presented by Mary Stewart.
