The Lerwick Legion was the venue tonight for the fifth Grand Prix of the season with 26 ladies entering the competition.
After some good early games, the quarter finals were Kay Parry v Melanie Scott, Gemma Irvine v Anne-Marie Smith, Alison Robertson v Janet Dunnet and Zara MacRitchie v Caroline Manson.
Winning their games and going through to the semi finals were Melanie, AMS, Alison and Caroline. Melanie then beat AMS 2-0 and Alison beat Caroline in the third leg of their game with a fabulous 152 finish after Caroline bust 160.
In a very good final, Melanie lost her first leg of the night to Alison but came back to win 2-1. Well done Melanie.
And well done to AMS for hitting another 180!
