The Hughson Brothers shield was held last night (Wednesday 11/12/24) in the Whitedale Social club. 16 ladies entered the competition which was the third Grand Prix of the season.
The quarter finals were Sandra MacRitchie v Gemma Irvine, Rosaine Sandison v Alison Robertson, Autumn Arcus v Roselyn Fraser and Melanie Scott v Wendy Somerville.
Gemma, Alison, Roselyn and Wendy all won their games 2-0 then in the semi finals Gemma beat Alison 2-0 and Wendy beat Roselyn 2-1.
Gemma won the final 2-0 against Wendy and also had a high checkout of 117 on the night. Well done Gemma! Thanks to all who took part in the competition.
Carl Cross presented wine and monetary prizes on behalf of the Scalloway Hotel.
